Human Resources

Human Resource Management is our profession. Our passion. We know the talents in our profession and they know us. HRM has been one of our specialities for 25 years. We actively contribute to the further development of this specialist field. And fill top level positions for HRM directors and HR managers and specialists. In all branches and sectors.

HR community

Ebbinge & Company stands for Executive Search, Recruitment & Selection, Executive Interim Management, Development, Assessment and Coaching - in fact, HRM in the broadest sense of the word. In that field, we obviously have a reputation to uphold. We are in constant contact with our own HR community, a network of high-quality and distinctive HR professionals in all branches and sectors. We also help to develop the profession by offering starting positions for trainees, conducting research, issuing publications, giving guest lectures, participating in seminars and organising Ebbinge HR events. Consultant / Partner Bob de Groot observes that the HRM specialist field is going through an important transition, as pointed out in his recently published book entitled ‘Good luck in HRM!' [in Dutch: ‘Veel succes in HRM!']

Talent and innovation

"The capacity of organisations to stand out from their competitors has become more and more dependent on their capacity to constantly innovate. All the resources that an organisation needs are there in abundance, except for talent. Having talent and developing it is crucial. More and more, talented people are becoming the architects of their own future, making their own choices. This is leading to different types of mental relationships with the organisations for which they are working. HRM must respond to this and steer it in the right direction inside companies. The same thing is happening in our own practice. In addition to ‘searching' for top-class HR professionals, management and executive boards are increasingly calling on our services for current HR issues related to filling key positions, ‘finding and retaining' talent and developing a strong ‘employer brand' on the labour market."

Working method

We occupy a strong position at the top of the market and fill key positions, with additional Assessment and Coaching, and sometimes temporarily by means of Executive Interim Management. It is a broad area of focus, ranging from the very best graduates (including people just starting out) up to and including HR management level. We have a distinctive position and proposition in all sub-segments. Bob de Groot on his team's working method: "Different competencies are required in this day and age. In my search for distinctive HR professionals, I look very closely at what makes somebody unique, their personal and professional character and the context in which that provides the greatest added value. In other words: what fits where. It's not about finding the best candidate, but about finding the most appropriate candidate for a specific position. As a rule, the most important guiding principle is value creation for the organisation, your capacity to innovate with people."
